Kherson Ends Heating Season for Social Facilities on March 12, 2025

The heating season for social and cultural facilities, as well as consumers of district heating energy, regardless of their legal form and ownership in the Kherson city territorial community, ends on March 12.

According to Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, he recently signed an order to end the heating season of 2024-2025.

"This is due to temperature standards," the official added.

He also noted that for residents of houses and apartments equipped with individual heating systems, the heating period will end on April 30 this year. Also, by April 15, action plans for the preparation of heat supply facilities of enterprises for operation in the autumn-winter period of 2025-2026 should be developed and submitted for approval to the Kherson City Military Administration, taking into account the analysis of the current heating season.

Earlier, Kherson changed heating tariffs for households for the 2024-2025 season. The new prices are set forKhersonteploenergoand include the cost of heat energy, its production, transportation and supply. The cost of heating for the population supplied by Khersonteploenergo, Kherson Heat and Power Plant JSC, Khersonteploenergo PE and Group Company LLC in the heating season 2024-2025 remained the same as last season.

The candidate for the position of the head of Khersonteploenergo, Gennadiy Shchurov, also declared land and business registered in Crimea. <span>The man indicated a 700 m2 land plot in Sevastopol and a 48 m2 apartment in Dnipro. He also owns 50% of the authorized capital of the company Specialized Company Slavutych LLC, which is also registered in Sevastopol. </span>
