Russian shelling claimed the life of a civilian in Kherson region and injured people.

According to the head of the Kherson regional military administration Oleksandr Prokudin, one civilian was killed and four were wounded in the region over the past day as a result of the occupiers' attacks.

The enemy attacks targeted critical infrastructure and residential areas. Two high-rise buildings, eight private houses, an outbuilding and a car were damaged.

Among the settlements that came under shelling and air strikes were Stanislav, Beryslav, Sofiyivka, Tyahynka, Mykhailivka, Antonivka, Chervonyi Mayak, Shyroka Balka, Tomaryne, Kachkarivka, Komyshany, Olhivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Nadnipryanske and Kherson itself.

According to Prokudin, evacuation services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attacks, help the victims and document the destruction.

The Kherson Regional State Administration added that at about seven o'clock in the morning, Russian troops attacked a resident of Beryslav. As a result of the explosives dropped from a UAV, the 59-year-old man sustained a mine-blast injury, facial and head wounds. The victim was taken to a hospital where he is being provided with all necessary assistance.
