The state-owned enterprise Izmail Commercial Port has launched a search for a contractor to equip four mobile shelters for UAH 8 million.

The announcement was published in the Prozorro e-procurement system.

Two ground-based mobile one-story shelters are designed for 50 people, and two more are for six people. Each person is estimated to have 0.6 square meters of space. The shelters will have protective sealed metal doors, water supply and drainage systems, electricity, and waterproofing. The inverter air conditioners will provide heating at low temperatures of up to 25 degrees Celsius and cooling at high temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius.

The protective structures will have a 1-year warranty period.

The auction to select the contractor is scheduled for July 10. The contractor must deliver and install the structures in the port within 5 days after signing the contract. Transportation and other related costs are included in the purchase price.

Meanwhile, the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Vilkovo City Council of Izmail District, Odesa Region, held a procurement to select a contractor to be paid for the construction of a civil defense facility on the territory of the Vilkovo Secondary School No. 1. The construction of the shelter will be funded by the local budget, a subvention from the state budget, and the European Union under the Framework Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union on special mechanisms for the implementation of EU funding for Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility.

Instead, Dozorro journalists analyzed the estimate for the construction of a protective structure for the Udobne Lyceum in Odesa Oblast and found that Bud-Marka LLC had overestimated the prices of construction materials.
