The Housing and Communal Services Department of the Izmail City Council has started searching for a contractor to carry out the current repair of the road to the city hospital's clinic at 6 Klushina Street in Izmail.

The cost of the work is estimated at UAH 4 million 895 thousand, an Intent correspondent reports, citing the public procurement website Prozorro.

As stated in the justification of the technical and quality characteristics of the procurement item, the repairs are being carried out to "ensure proper conditions for access for medical transport and visitors to the critical infrastructure facility - the adult outpatient department."

It is planned to dismantle the old asphalt pavement and lay a new four-centimeter layer of asphalt, replace 300 meters of curb, and replace two cast-iron manholes on the wells with five new ones. At the same time, the "safety path" will be repaired: 400 meters of curb and asphalt pavement will be replaced.

All this, according to the contract, should be done by March 31, 2025. The warranty period for the work performed is 3 years. The auction will be held in the form of an open bidding with special conditions on January 22.

As you can see from the photos taken specifically for this material, the road surface near the Izmail clinic is in good condition. As for the simplification of access to the medical facility, which is stated in the justification, it would be advisable to develop some planning solutions for a more convenient organization of parking for visitors and staff. After all, there is nowhere for an apple to fall near the clinic, especially in the morning, because of the large number of cars that clog the entrance to the clinic itself, and also significantly narrow the roadway of Klushyna Street, making it difficult to move during peak hours.
