The acting mayor of Odesa, Secretary of the City Council, Ihor Koval, declared the largest housing stock among the mayors of Odesa region - 402 square meters, of which 221 square meters belong to him personally.

Every year, the Center for Public Investigations together with Intent compile a rating of declarations of the mayors of large cities and district centers of the South to compare not only income but also the structure of wealth - from savings to real estate and transportation. The area of housing in the family of Ihor Koval is larger even than that of former mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov , who 384 square meters of housing (205 square meters owned). Both Odesa officials are significantly ahead of other participants in the ranking.

Oleh Albanskyi is next with 340 square meters, and most of it (248 square meters) is registered directly to him. Andriy Abramchenko has similar figures - 313 square meters, of which 205 square meters are owned.

The middle segment is formed by Volodymyr Novatskyi (270 square meters, of which 165 square meters are owned) and Vasyl Huliayev (202 square meters, all of which belong to him). Smaller volumes of housing were declared by Berezivka Mayor Valeriy Hryhorash (170 square meters) and Bolhrad Mayor Serhiy Dimitriyev (132 square meters).

At the same time, two declarations show either minimal participation in the property or its complete absence. In particular, Valeriy Shovkaliuk declared 106 square meters of housing, but none of the objects belong to him personally. And Oleksandr Skalozub did not indicate any residential property at all. At the same time, he uses a 75-square-meter apartment in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi for free, which probably belongs to his mother, Vira Skalozub.
