A group of people attacked the military personnel of the territorial center for recruitment and social support in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Odesa region, and, threatening them with a gun, took away a mobilized man.

This was reported by Bessarabia INFORM, citing its own sources.

According to the publication, the incident occurred after the young man left the building of the city polyclinic surrounded by the TCC soldiers. According to eyewitnesses, shortly before that, the young man had managed to call unknown persons who were waiting for him outside.

Armed, according to preliminary information, with a hunting rifle, the men pointed their weapons at the doctors and beat the servicemen. Then, together with the conscript, they fled the scene. The city introduced the "Interception Plan" and after a while detained the attackers.

Meanwhile, a minor who damaged a patrol police car during the conflict in Odesa over the detention of a soldier who had left the unit without permission will be released on bail on Monday, May 18. The day before, the Primorskyi Court of Odesa imposed a 60-day detention on the 17-year-old student.

Currently, police investigators have opened two criminal proceedings over the attack on police officers, during which a chain was used to break the window of a patrol car. The police said that on May 14, when district police officers were detaining a citizen who had left the military unit without permission, a group of people began to obstruct the police. Aggressive passers-by blocked the movement of the police car, preventing the man from being taken to the military law enforcement service. During the conflict, the citizens physically resisted and damaged the police car. The 33-year-old man, who was wanted for leaving the military unit without permission, was detained and handed over to representatives of the Military Law Enforcement Service.
