Honcharenko and Palytsia turned out to be among the richest in their factions

Analysts of the R&D center YouControl analyzed the declarations of MPs for 2023-2024 and determined which MPs of the ninth convocation have the highest income, taking into account the entire list of factions and deputy groups.

YouControl analysts also calculated the percentage of growth and decline in MPs' income compared to the previous period.

According to the experts, two MPs in their factions with the highest income were those associated with Odesa region. Thus, MP Oleksiy Honcharenko ranked second among his fellow party members in terms of income last year. The MP had 9.6 million hryvnias. The first place was taken by the leader of the European Solidarity faction, Petro Poroshenko, who received an income of 4 billion 622.7 million hryvnias last year. By the way, Petro Poroshenko, as a native of Bolhrad, Odesa region, is also related to the region.

The total income of the members of the European Solidarity faction in 2024 amounted to 4.7 billion hryvnias, which is 66% of the total income of all members of parliament.

Another MP with a history of ties to Odesa region is Ihor Palytsia, who headed the Odesa Regional State Administration from May 6, 2014 to May 30, 2015. He earned 44.6 million hryvnias last year and ranked third among his fellow party members. In 2024, the total income of the "Party for the Future" parliamentary group amounted to UAH 785.1 million, which is 11% more than the group members declared last year. The largest incomes in 2024 were received by Stepan Ivakhiv (UAH 584.8 million) and Ivan Chaikivskyi (UAH 51 million).

The total income of the members of the Servant of the People faction in 2024 amounted to almost UAH 687 million. Compared to 2023, the income decreased by 7.7% or UAH 52.8 million.

The total income of 23 non-factional MPs in 2024 amounted to UAH 254.5 million. The total income of the members of the DOVIRA parliamentary group in 2024 amounted to UAH 238.7 million, which is almost 32% less than in 2023. 24 MPs from the Batkivshchyna faction declared a total income of UAH 111.5 million in 2024.

The total income of 21 members of the "Platform for Life and Peace" parliamentary group in 2024 amounted to UAH 160 million. As of April 17, the total income of 18 members of the "Restoration of Ukraine" parliamentary group in 2024 amounted to UAH 118.9 million. The total income of 20 MPs from GOLOS in 2024 amounted to UAH 56.2 million, which is UAH 6.6 million more than in 2023.
