Acting Odesa Mayor Igor Koval has dismissed Volodymyr Khitrenko, director of the Department of Transport, Communications and Traffic Organization, from his post.
The corresponding order was published by the press service of the Odesa City Council.
Volodymyr Khitrenko had been in office since December 2023. At that time, Artem Sydorenko, Director of the Department of Transport, Communications and Traffic Organization of the Odesa City Council, resigned.
In February 2024, Volodymyr Khitrenko, Director of the Department of Transport, Communications and Traffic Organization of the Odesa City Council, accused Dmytro Zhemann of delaying the reservation of employees from mobilization, which resulted in the loss of 100 staff members.
After the deposition of Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov, the Odesa municipality began to change its staff. Thus, the interim mayor, Igor Koval, introduced the new head of the Peresypsk District Administration, Yuriy Kushchenko.
He dismissed Serhiy Kondratyuk from the post of head of the Peresypsk District Administration of Odesa. His position was handed over to his first deputy Svyatoslav Glazanovsky. Serhiy Kondratyuk was appointed to the post in July 2018.
Also, the acting mayor of Odesa, Ihor Koval, appointed a head of the new Department of Veterans Affairs, which was created in the Odesa City Council. The department is headed by Volodymyr Yermakov, who previously headed the municipal institution "Service Office "Veteran Hub". Volodymyr Yermakov was dismissed from his position as head of the municipal institution by another order. A separate department for veterans' affairs, which oversees the implementation of state and local programs to support defenders, was established in Odesa during a city council session on November 19.
