The oath to Ukraine did not prevent the woman from keeping accounting records for the occupiers in the occupied Kherson. While the city was living under the pressure of repression, the former penitentiary system employee signed financial documents for an illegal colony and was sentenced for it.

This is evidenced by the verdict of the Kherson City Court.

According to the court, after the capture of Kherson, the woman voluntarily agreed to work in the "department of the penitentiary service" created by the occupation authorities. She took the position of chief accountant and was responsible for the financial support of the illegal body.

The investigation established that the accused had previously worked in
Northern colony No. 90, had a special rank of senior lieutenant of the internal service and had taken an oath of allegiance to Ukraine. Despite this, in May 2022, she sided with the occupation authorities.

The court interrogated several witnesses - employees of Kherson penitentiary institutions. They confirmed that they had seen the woman on the territory of the occupied colony and in the administration, where she acted as an accountant, signed financial documents and participated in the distribution of funds.

The evidence also included orders on her appointment to a position in the occupation authority, accounting documents, payrolls, correspondence and materials seized during searches. The case was considered in absentia, as the defendant is a fugitive from Ukrainian justice.

The court found her guilty of high treason and sentenced her to 15 years in prison with confiscation of all her property. She was also stripped of her special rank of "senior lieutenant of the internal service".

According to the Chesno movement, Tatiana Tsaturova voluntarily sided with the occupation authorities after the seizure of the region.

In October 2022, she was notified of suspicion of collaboration. Tsaturova could also be involved in repressions against Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories and fabrication of so-called "evidence" to prosecute citizens. It is known that in 2020, she was vetted under the law "On the Purification of Government". In 2025, the SBU notified her of suspicion of high treason.

Also, Yuriy Skrytskyi, who was a lawyer for the mayor of Kherson, Ihor Kolikhaiev, was sentenced in absentia to 11 years in prison for aiding the aggressor state.
