Based on the SBU materials, a former official of the Kherson Regional State Administration was sentenced to a real prison term.

According to the press service of the agency, the SBU investigation found Dmytro Tokarev-Talibov, a former head of a department of the Kherson Regional State Administration, guilty of collaboration.

The post says that SBU officers documented that in August 2022, Tokarev-Talibov, while in the temporarily occupied Kherson, deliberately went over to the enemy and agreed to cooperate. The traitor headed the so-called "legal support department" in the racist-held water resources basin administration.

It is noted that the convict provided legal support to the pseudo-agency and was engaged in re-registration of documentation in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the aggressor state. He prepared and supported contracts related to the economic activities of the illegally created "department".

In the summer of 2023, Ukrainian special services detained the collaborator in the liberated Kherson. Based on the evidence collected by SBU investigators, the court found Tokarev-Talibov guilty under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaboration) and sentenced him to 6 years in prison with confiscation of property. He was also deprived of the right to hold administrative and managerial positions for 10 years.

The investigation was conducted by the SBU in Kherson region under the procedural supervision of the regional prosecutor's office.

Earlier it was reported that the investigation against four former employees of the penitentiary service from Kherson region who collaborated with the enemy was completed.

Also in Kherson region, a village council member and two other local residents went to work for the occupiers.
