Former head of the Economic Court in Mykolaiv region dies

The staff of the Commercial Court of Mykolaiv Region expresses its sincere condolences on the death of retired judge Konstantin Vasylyaka. The lawyer's life ended at the age of 74.

Konstantin Vasylyaka began his career at the Zhovtneva mine in Kryvyi Rih. Having chosen the path of a lawyer, in 1977 he became a student of Odesa State University. After receiving his degree in 1982, he devoted part of his life to serving in the Kherson region's internal affairs agencies.

A new page in his biography was connected with the justice system of Mykolaiv region. In January 2000, he began his judicial career at the Arbitration Court of the region. Thanks to his qualifications and dedication, in 2004 he was elected a judge for life, and in 2008 he became Deputy Chairman of the Economic Court of Mykolaiv Region.

The pinnacle of his professional career was his appointment in November 2010 as the Chairman of the Court, a position he held until his retirement.

Kostiantyn Vasylyaka is remembered by his colleagues as a model of professional ethics, integrity and deep responsibility. His contribution to the development of the economic justice system in our region is invaluable, and his authority among lawyers is indisputable.

''The bright memory of Konstantin Vasylyaka will forever remain in the hearts of those who worked alongside him. The staff of the Commercial Court of Mykolaiv Region shares the pain of loss and expresses sincere condolences to the family of the deceased,'' the memorial address reads.
