Employees of public utilities and the regional administration suffered from the occupiers' attacks in Kherson

On August 21, in the afternoon, the Russian occupation army attacked a car of one of the municipal enterprises of the Kherson City Council. There were employees of the enterprise inside.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson MVA Roman Mrochko.

The official's post says that a 54-year-old woman received a shrapnel wound to her forearm. The 57-year-old man has a contusion, explosive and closed head injury.

Also, according to the press service of the Kherson regional police, during the day, the Russian military carried out drone attacks on the Kherson suburb of Antonivka. In the morning, the Russians dropped explosives from a drone on workers of a critical infrastructure enterprise who were repairing the damage caused by previous Russian attacks. A 55-year-old and a 42-year-old man were injured, both with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds. Their company car was also damaged. The enemy also hit a civilian car with a drone, injuring two men. The 66-year-old victim was diagnosed with an explosive injury, shrapnel wound to his left leg and partial traumatic amputation of his right foot. A 52-year-old man sustained an explosive injury and shrapnel wound to his thigh. A 54-year-old female resident of the village also suffered as a result of the drone attack, she sustained a mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wound to her forearm. A civilian vehicle was damaged.

In Kherson and the suburbs, Russian troops massively attacked civilians and vehicles from unmanned aerial vehicles and launched artillery strikes. In the Korabelny district, shelling damaged two private houses, a tractor and a pipeline. The Russians also attacked the old city center with an FPV drone, damaging an apartment building. Another apartment building was damaged as a result of an explosive drop from a UAV.

At dawn, Russians fired multiple rocket launchers at the center of Kherson. A shopping center building housing the humanitarian headquarters, a medical facility, a church, two administrative buildings, an educational institution, a college, a sports school, a cafe, two apartment buildings and four private houses were heavily damaged. The shelling caused a fire of dead wood in the park.

Also in the morning, a 54-year-old employee of the regional military administration who was on her way to work was hit by an enemy drone on the main street. The woman sustained a mine-blast injury and contusion.
