On August 9, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to Ukraine Ole Egberg Mikkelsen visited Mykolaiv to hand over 9 new trolleybuses with a range of up to 20 km.
This was reported by the Mykolaiv City Council.
The new trolleybuses were purchased in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development with the financial support of the Danish Government. Earlier, as part of this cooperation, Mykolaiv had already received 9 trolleybuses, so the total rolling stock of Mykolaivelectrotrans has already been replenished with 18 vehicles. Thanks to the new trolleybuses, the city plans to open two new routes in the Korabelnyi district on August 18.
