The High Anti-Corruption Court will consider the claim of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office to confiscate two cars used by the family of Serhiy Korak, head of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District Territorial Center for Manning and Social Support in Odesa Oblast.

This decision was made by the HACC on June 19, according to Slovo i Dilo.

As you know, the SAPO prosecutor filed a lawsuit to confiscate the cars of the head of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District TSC, Serhii Korak. It is about two cars Toyota C-HR HYBRID 2022 worth UAH 1 million 381 thousand 630 and Toyota C-HR 2021 worth UAH 564,789, which were purchased by close relatives of the official and with which he could directly or indirectly perform actions identical in content to the exercise of the right of disposal.

An analysis of the income and expenses of the official and his family established the impossibility of acquiring this property from legal sources. Also, at the request of the prosecutor, the court seized the vehicles as an interim measure.

"To initiate civil proceedings on the claim of the SAPO prosecutor against the defendants to recognize the assets as unjustified and recover them for the state. To schedule the case for consideration at a preparatory court hearing at 14:30 on August 5, 2025, which will be held at the HACC," the decision reads.

Meanwhile, on June 19, the panel of judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeal increased the bail for the former head of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Manning and Social Support, Yevhen Borysov, to UAH 45.4 million. On July 22, 2023, the former Odesa military commissar was served with a notice of suspicion on three articles - illegal enrichment, unauthorized leaving of the place of service, and evasion from service. These sanctions provide for up to 10 years in prison in case of conviction.
