Combined attack damages 19 houses in Kherson region

The aggressor's troops shelled 35 settlements in Kherson region, hitting homes, infrastructure and cars. The attacks killed one person and injured nine others.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

During the day from 06:00 on August 1 to 06:00 on August 2, 2025, 35 settlements in the Kherson region came under enemy fire.

The Russian army attacked residential areas, critical and social infrastructure with drones, artillery and aircraft. At least 2 multi-storey buildings, 17 private houses and private cars were damaged.

Among the areas under fire were Antonivka, Chornobaivka, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Beryslav, Zolota Balka, Tyahyntsi, Kherson, etc.

One person was killed and 9 others were wounded as a result of hostile attacks.

During the day from July 31 to August 1, Russian troops shelled Kherson and its suburbs. Residential neighborhoods, social and critical infrastructure were hit: eight private houses, a high-rise building, a gas pipeline, outbuildings, garages and cars were damaged.

On the morning of August 1, at about 6:40 a.m., the Dniprovsky district of Kherson was hit by artillery. A woman born in 1974 died of life-threatening injuries. She is survived by three daughters born in 2008, 2010 and 2011. All of them have an acute stress reaction and are under medical supervision.

Several other victims were taken to hospitals: A 68-year-old resident of Antonivka with a shrapnel wound to his leg after a drone strike, a 67-year-old resident of Kherson who received shrapnel wounds to his arm on July 30, a 67-year-old resident of Bilozerka with an explosive injury, contusion and concussion, and another 67-year-old man from Bilozerka with the same injuries. Also, a 78-year-old resident of Antonivka, who was injured as a result of Russian shelling, was taken to the hospital.

At about 20:30, the occupation forces attacked the village of Shyroka Balka in the Stanislavska community with drones. A 24-year-old man was hit. And at 22:30, the Russians fired on the Korabelny district of Kherson. As a result, a 54-year-old man sustained an explosive injury, contusion and a bruised leg.

After the attack on Kyiv, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that in July alone, the Russians had fired more than 5,100 guided aerial bombs, 3,800 kamikaze drones, and about 260 missiles, 128 of which were ballistic missiles.
