Bureau of Economic Security announces competition to find head of Odesa detectives

The Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine has announced a competitive selection for the vacant position of head of the detective unit of the Territorial Department in Odesa region.

This was reported by the BES press service.

The candidate must have:

• Master's or specialist's degree in Business, Administration and Law: in the specialties of Law, Accounting and Taxation, Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market, Public Administration and Management, or in the field of Security and Defense, Law Enforcement, Social Sciences, Journalism and Information, and Economics.
• Work experience of at least five years in operational and investigative units of law enforcement agencies, as an investigator or operational officer or detective, including at least three years in management positions.

In return, they are offered a salary of UAH 56,754 per month, a supplement for the special rank of senior officers of the BES, a monthly longevity allowance, and other payments, allowances, and bonuses. Applications will be accepted until April 9.

The Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine is a central executive body tasked with combating offenses that infringe on the functioning of the state's economy. In accordance with its tasks, the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine performs law enforcement, analytical, economic, information and other functions.

For example, in Odesa, a woman who registered companies with signs of transit firms will be brought to court. According to the Bureau of Economic Security, these structures could have been used to minimize taxes and cash out funds.
