Against the backdrop of the militarization of the peninsula, a mysterious node has appeared in Crimea near the nuclear weapons zone, which has exact duplicates in Russia. Their synchronized appearance and unified configuration raise questions about the hidden purpose of these facilities.

This was reported by Defense Express.

The Russian military has deployed three identical facilities in different parts of the aggressor country and on the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory. These are sites in Crimea, near Lake Ladoga near St. Petersburg, and on the White Sea coast in the Arkhangelsk region.

All three sites are located on the territories belonging to the Russian Ministry of Defense. In particular, in the occupied Crimea, construction took place near Krasnokamenka, in the area of a former nuclear weapons storage facility that was used in Soviet times. It is recorded that this site has been operational since the summer of 2024.

At the Crimean location, there are three arched inflatable structures, a group of blue shipping containers connected by utilities, and a smaller auxiliary module. A similar configuration is observed at the other two sites.

A second similar complex was built about 50 kilometers from St. Petersburg, on the territory of the abandoned Nyasino tank range. It was created simultaneously with the facility in Crimea. In addition to the hangars, a concrete pad and several separate structures were set up there, outside the main hub.

The third such structure was deployed in the Arkhangelsk region at a training ground near the White Sea. The work started in July 2023 and was completed in September of the same year, which indicates the rapid pace of the project.

Each of the three sites has a double security perimeter with a fence, as well as a lightning protection system. At the same time, satellite images show no signs of permanent staff presence or active operation, which only reinforces the assumption that they may be used for special or backup purposes.

Also, in the annexed Crimea, the occupation authorities have again increased one-time payments for signing contracts with the Russian Defense Ministry. this is not the first increase in payments - earlier, in February, the amount was increased to 900 thousand rubles.
