Around one in the morning, Russian troops once again attacked Odesa. In one of the city's districts, an infrastructure facility was hit. The State Emergency Service units immediately started working at the site.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa MVA Sergey Lysak.
The night attack damaged both civilian and critical infrastructure. One man was injured - medics provided him with first aid on the spot, and he will be treated on an outpatient basis. An infrastructure facility was severely damaged, where a fire broke out after the strike. Glass in nearby buildings was smashed and 15 private cars caught fire.
A nine-story residential building was also damaged: part of the facade wall and the roof were destroyed, and a fire broke out on the top floor. SES psychologists worked with the residents - 23 people received help. The commercial infrastructure was also heavily damaged.
The fire engulfed pavilions at one of the city's markets and damaged a supermarket building. Utilities have already eliminated the main consequences of the attack: they cleared the area and temporarily covered the broken windows with plastic. An operational headquarters has been set up in the area, where residents of the affected buildings can receive the necessary assistance and advice.
Also on the night of February 10, Russians once again shelled the energy infrastructure of the Odesa region with unmanned aerial vehicles. In the south of the region, an energy facility was damaged and a fire broke out. An administrative building was also damaged.
The day before, a 35-year-old man was killed and two other people were injured, including a 19-year-old girl, in a nighttime shelling of Odesa on February 9. One of the drones hit the roof of a high-rise building, causing a fire. A gas pipe was also damaged.
