In Odesa, law enforcement officers raided five warehouses containing narcotics and psychotropic substances. The seized substances were valued at over 2 million hryvnias.

According to the press service of the National Police in the Odesa region, as part of the “Rubicon” special operation, law enforcement officers exposed five city residents suspected of organizing the distribution of drugs and psychotropic substances.

According to police, the suspects sold wholesale batches of prohibited substances and shipped them to other regions of Ukraine. They used in-person meetings, hiding places, mail, the internet, and delivery services to transfer the goods.

Law enforcement officers documented a series of transactions and detained the suspects in various districts of Odesa. Some of them were detained while attempting to send packages to customers in which drugs and psychotropic substances were concealed among other items.

During searches of the suspects and their residences, authorities seized substances preliminarily identified as Alfa PVP, amphetamine, ecstasy, cannabis, psilocybin mushrooms, mephedrone, cocaine, and LSD. The seized items were sent for analysis to determine their composition and exact weight.
