The auction organized by the National Agency for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) for the sale of seven trucks of the brands Scania, Volvo, MAN, Mercedes-Benz failed for the second time.

This is reported in the Prozorro.Sale system.

The auction was supposed to take place on April 9 with the starting price reduced to UAH 2 million 101.5 thousand. Also, the future winner of the auction will have to pay customs duties in the amount of UAH 3 million 280.7 thousand to the ARMA account. The vehicles are in a non-operational and half-disassembled condition.

ARMA's seized assets is a direction that allows purchasing property, property and other rights that have been seized, confiscated in criminal or civil proceedings, and fall under the ARMA Law. These may include vehicles, jewelry, construction in progress, equipment, river vessels, etc.

The previous auction was scheduled for March 28, but due to a lack of bidders, it did not take place, so ARMA has scheduled a second one.

This is not a new scheme, and if these trucks are not sold now, it is possible that the third auction will be held in a different format. For example, in early April, the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) managed to find a buyer for more than 136 tons of fertilizers stored in the port of Izmail in Odesa region for the third time.

These fertilizers were put up for sale twice in the format of a three-round English auction - on March 10, they were tried to be sold with a starting price of UAH 2 million 906 thousand, and on March 21, with a halved starting price of UAH 1 million 453.1 thousand. But both times, there were no bidders. Then the fertilizers were put up for a hybrid Dutch auction and sold to the only bidder for UAH 871,877.
