An educator implemented the occupiers' education standards in a seized university in Kherson

An educator who implemented Russian education standards in the seized university in Kherson was suspected.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The post says that under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a former associate professor of a university in the regional center was served in absentia with a notice of suspicion of collaboration (Part 3 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Thus, according to the investigation, in the summer of 2022, the suspect collaborated with the enemy and took the position of "dean" of one of the faculties of the Kherson National Technical University, which was seized by the occupiers. In his pseudo-position, the suspect began to implement Russian education standards and taught courses exclusively in Russian. He was in charge of the general management of the faculty, approved the class schedule and coordinated the settlement of students in the dormitory.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Main Department of the National Police in Kherson region.

Earlier it was reported that a woman who wasthe "head of the village" under the occupiers would be tried in Kherson region. The investigation found that in September 2022, the accused cooperated with the occupiers and took the position of the so-called "head of the Kirov village council" of the Beryslav occupation administration. In her pseudo-position, the woman took measures to establish the occupation authorities in the area. She ensured the functioning of the illegally created authority, recruited employees, and disposed of the village's communal property. She agitated the local population to cooperate with the enemy and obtain a Russian passport.

It was also reported that a resident of the region was suspected for transferring the vehicle fleet of a seized enterprise to the Russian military and the occupation administration of Kherson region.
