Ukraine is collecting information about those involved in the armed aggression of Russia. More than 680 thousand people are already known to be included in the "War Criminal" database

This was reported by Dmytro Shevchuk, Deputy Head of the Department for Investigation of Crimes Committed in the Armed Conflict, Main Investigation Department of the National Police, Ukrinform reports.

According to Shevchuk, the War Criminal database currently contains information about more than 680,000 citizens who are somehow involved in the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

He added that this information subsystem, created by NPU units at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, is an interagency tool for data exchange. The database contains data on citizens involved in war crimes. These individuals are currently undergoing a thorough check, after which an appropriate legal assessment of their actions will be provided.

Meanwhile, the Center for Public Investigations has personalized those who may be involved in the deadly attack on civilians in the village of Serhiivka in Odesa region on July 1, 2022, by the Russian military.

Olena Chernysheva 's video investigation "Terrorist attack in Serhiivka: Which Russian military personnel are involved in the killing of Ukrainians" was the second investigation by the CPR in video format.

Last fall, the Center for Public Investigations released a film "Who Kidnapped the Prisoners of the Snihuriv Correctional Colony in the Village of Tsentralne". The Center for Public Investigations investigated who was involved in war crimes.

Kherson law enforcement also established the involvement of a 29-year-old resident of Moscow, an employee of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, in the case of torture of civilians. Currently, the Russian has been notified in absentia of suspicion of committing a war crime. He faces 12 years in prison.
