The centralized procurement organization of Odesa City Council has announced three tenders to find suppliers of medical equipment.

According to the Prozorro electronic procurement system, the procurement is for the benefit of the neuropsychiatric boarding school "Island of Hope" and all equipment should be delivered to 4 Sonyachna Street in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.

The first tender involves the purchase of a rehabilitation complex, a treadmill with power supply and a massage table or couch with power supply. The expected value of the purchase is UAH 2 million 356.7 thousand.

The second tender involves the purchase of:

The expected value of the purchase under the second tender is UAH 2 million 332.7 thousand.

The third tender involves the purchase of: 11 medical beds, 21 electric hospital beds, two massage tables or couches, without power supply. The expected value of the procurement is UAH 1 million 458 thousand.

Open bidding with special features means that almost all terms are shorter than in open bidding under the Law on Public Procurement. This means that this procurement is much faster than open tenders.

The period for submitting proposals is seven calendar days, and the period for challenging qualifications is five calendar days. Often, there is no auction during such tenders, so the participant has no competitors.

However, after the start of the full-scale invasion, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine temporarily changed the rules of bidding for the period of martial law in Ukraine and within 90 days from the date of its termination or cancellation. Thus, the government temporarily canceled electronic auctions. Since then, tenders announced in Prozorro can be held without an auction.
