A person died in Kherson region due to Russian shelling, a child is among the wounded

Over the past day, Russian troops continued shelling Kherson region with artillery and attacked localities with attack drones. One person was killed and 13 other residents of the region were injured, including a child.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

Kherson, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Davydiv Brid, Komyshany, Novoraysk, Osokorivka, Tokarivka, Shyroka Balka and more than two dozen other settlements of the region were under fire from the occupiers.

According to the regional military administration, the Russian military shelled residential areas and critical and social infrastructure. The attacks damaged six multi-storey and 20 private houses, a cell tower, a water supply system, outbuildings, and private cars.

In the Kherson city territorial community, Kherson, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Komyshany and Zymivnyk came under fire. According to Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson MCA, private and apartment buildings, civilian vehicles, a bank building, garages, and power lines were damaged.

As a result of the Russian attacks, one person died in the community and seven others were injured. There is a child among the victims.

Earlier, the occupiers had struck critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas. The shelling damaged eight multi-storey buildings and 15 private houses. In addition, a water tower, a cell tower, outbuildings, agricultural machinery and private cars were damaged.

Earlier, Russian military attacked a hospital in Bilozirka, Kherson region, with artillery and FPV drones. The shelling injured two nurses and a medical staff member, and damaged the hospital building and residential buildings.
