Interim Mayor Igor Koval introduced the new head of Peresypsk District Administration, Yuriy Kushchenko.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhiy Lysak.

The new head of the district administration, Yuriy Kushchenko, was born in 1974, has a university degree and extensive experience in business. He also worked for the Security Service of Ukraine and was subject to lustration in 2014.

In the declaration submitted before his appointment, he listed a 118-square-meter apartment in Odesa, non-residential premises of 200 and 132 square meters, two parking spaces, as well as a number of expensive Breitling and Patek Philippe watches (three for himself and one for his wife), two cars - a Volkswagen Touareg (2012) and a Mercedes-Benz GLS 350 D (2017).

Earlier, Ihor Koval dismissed Serhiy Kondratyuk from the post of the head of Peresypskyi District Administration of Odesa. His position was handed over to his first deputy Svyatoslav Glazanovsky. Serhiy Kondratyuk was appointed to the post in July 2018. At the end of August, employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations informed him that the head of the district administration was suspected of abuse of office. In September 2022, prosecutors of the Suvorov District Prosecutor's Office in Odesa sent an indictment to the court against the head of one of Odesa's district administrations for abuse of office.

The Suvorov Court of Odesa refused to satisfy the prosecutor's motion and remove the head of the Suvorov District Administration, Serhiy Kondratyuk, from office. The judges imposed a bail of UAH 752.4 thousand on Mr. Kondratyuk.
