In Snigurivka, Bashtansky District, a contractor has been selected to carry out routine repairs on the classrooms at Lyceum No. 3. The cost of the work will be 1 million 550 thousand hryvnias, which is 50 thousand hryvnias less than the expected procurement cost.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations, citing data from the Prozorro electronic public procurement system.

The procurement was commissioned by the Center for Financial and Administrative Services for Educational Institutions of the Snigurivka City Council. The estimated cost of the repairs was 1,600,000 hryvnias excluding VAT, and the work will be funded from the local budget as part of a program to support general secondary education institutions.

Only one bid was submitted for the tender—from the private company “UkrBud107” based in the village of Shevchenkove, Mykolaiv Oblast. The company offered to perform the work for 1,550,000 hryvnias excluding VAT, after which its bid was deemed the most economically advantageous.

According to the tender documentation, the contractor must complete the renovation of the classrooms by September 30, 2026. Work must begin within two days of the contract being signed.

Payment will be made upon completion of the work. The contractor will receive funds within 30 calendar days after signing the acceptance certificates for the completed construction work and the statement of their cost. At the same time, the contract specifies that payments will be made within the limits of actual budgetary funding.

A separate condition of the contract is a three-year warranty on the completed work. During this period, the contractor is obligated to remedy any identified defects at its own expense if they arose due to its fault. The quality of the repairs must comply with state building codes, Ukrainian standards, and cost estimate norms.

The documentation also stipulates that the contractor is responsible for providing all construction materials, as well as their delivery, storage, and security. The client will have the right to monitor the progress of the repairs, verify the quality of the work, and, if violations are detected, demand their correction or even terminate the contract if the defects are not remedied.
