9 people wounded in Kherson region as a result of Russian aggression

Yesterday, Kherson region was under massive attacks by Russian troops. Dozens of settlements in the region, including Beryslav, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Tyahynka, Novovorontsovka, Novoraysk, Kizomys, Komyshany and the city of Kherson, came under enemy drone terror, air strikes and artillery fire.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudrin.

"Russian troops shelled residential areas and social infrastructure. The attacks damaged a multi-storey building, 11 private houses, an administrative building, a shop, a cultural institution and private cars.

Nine people were injured as a result of the Russian aggression.

The evacuation of residents from dangerous areas continues. Over the past day, 11 people have been evacuated from the liberated communities of Kherson region. The authorities are urging residents of frontline communities to move to safer regions.

Recently, on January 19, 2 people were killed and 14 injured in Russian shelling in the Kherson region.

As a reminder, on May 14, in the Korabelny district of Kherson, Russian military attacked the vehicles of the UN humanitarian mission from a drone. The attack took place despite international norms that prohibit the shelling of humanitarian missions and civilian vehicles used to help the population.

The occupiers also dropped explosives from a drone on a street in Kherson. A 68-year-old local resident was hit. The woman died on the spot from her injuries.

On May 13, in Kherson, Russian occupants attacked public transport with a drone. A shuttle bus came under attack. Six passengers were injured, and the bus driver sustained a concussion. Later it became known that two victims were taken to the hospital - a 57-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man. They were diagnosed with contusions, explosive and closed head injuries.
