20 million offered for repairs at Odesa boiler house

The boiler at Pivdenna-1 boiler house in Odesa will be repaired for UAH 20 million. A tender has been announced to find a contractor.

The relevant information is available in the Prozorro electronic procurement system, according to the Center for Public Investigations.

The customer is the utility company"Heat Supply of Odesa". It is about the current repair of the hot water boiler PTVM-100 at the district boiler house "Pivnichna-1" located at 80-B Heroiv Odoniiv Defynyi Street. The cost of the work is UAH 20 million 128 thousand.

According to the documentation, it is planned to completely replace the lower convection package and boiler tent structure, as well as conduct hydraulic tests, dismantle worn parts, install new pipelines and thermal insulation, upgrade flues and remove construction waste.

The works include about 45 different technical operations, including welding, fabrication of metal structures, installation of new system elements and insulation of equipment. All this is aimed at improving the efficiency and reliability of the boiler house during the heating season.

Applications will be accepted until May 14, and the next day the auction will be held in an open bidding format with special features, which means a short time frame and, most likely, no competition.

The contractor has to complete all the planned works by the beginning of the heating season - October 20, 2025.

On the eve of the start of the heating season, during an investigation of the work of the Odesa City Heating Company by the Center for Public Investigations, journalists found that the reconstruction of the chimney and flues of the Severna-2 district boiler house was supposed to be completed on November 1. And the dismantling of a part of the chimney of the district boiler house "Severnaya-1 " was supposed to be completed on September 30.
