Events poster in Tuzla Lagoons
Tuzla Limans are a group of saline lagoon water bodies located in the coastal part of Odesa region in Bessarabia. This unique ecosystem has been part of Ukraine's Ramsar wetlands since 1996 and holds the status of a nature conservation area of international significance. The limans are an important site for migration and nesting of waterfowl, as well as a habitat for marine mammals, particularly dolphins. The territory requires constant monitoring and protection from poaching and man-made threats.
