Political prisoners of Ukraine and the world
Political prisoners are people who are held in custody or serving sentences on charges that have an obvious political component, often fabricated. This platform highlights cases of repression against citizens, primarily from occupied Crimea and Ukraine, who are persecuted by Russian authorities for opposition to the occupation regime, donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, national identity, or other political motives. Materials are published here about illegal arrests, torture, judicial persecution, and international testimonies about the scale of repression.
