CHP (Combined Heat and Power plant)
A thermal power plant (TPP) is a municipal enterprise that produces electricity and thermal energy for centralized heating and hot water supply. TPPs are critical infrastructure for providing the population with heat and electricity, especially during the cold season. Several such stations are located throughout Ukraine, including facilities in Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Kherson, which regularly become the subject of public oversight and journalistic investigations regarding service quality and tariff policy.
