Cholera-like vibrios and epidemiological situation
Cholera is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Vibrio cholerae, which is transmitted through contaminated water and food. In Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Kherson regions, cholera-like vibrios were detected in water bodies, seawater, and seafood, creating risks to public health. The topic covers water quality monitoring, disease outbreaks, and health protection measures in the southern regions of Ukraine.
