On the road to Kherson, the Russians attacked trucks carrying food

In Kherson, a Russian drone flew into a tunnel and destroyed a truck carrying chocolate. The driver managed to escape only thanks to a UAV detector.
American journalist Zarina Zabriskie wrote about this on social media.
According to her, this incident is not an isolated attack but part of a systematic strategy by the occupiers. The enemy is targeting civilian vehicles to block food deliveries to the city.
“This is not a random attack: the Russians are targeting all vehicles in Kherson and are trying to stop food deliveries to the city,” she wrote on her page.
The journalist noted that if the truck had been attacked by a drone equipped with optical sensors, the outcome would have been different.
She also pointed out the Russians’ new strategy and cited the example of Oleshky.
Drones are shelling towns and villages from the sky. They’re also scattering mines across all the roads. You can see the result in Oleshky: civilians are starving,” the journalist wrote.
According to her, this strategy is advancing faster than one might think, and she reminded readers that Russian drones are already flying over Europe.
As Intent reported, in the Russian-occupied town of Oleshky in the Kherson region, civilians have been left without access to food, medicine, and other basic necessities. Ukraine has called on its international partners to ensure access to the town and establish humanitarian corridors.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga noted that the situation in Oleshky serves as a warning against normalizing the Russian occupation. In his view, any serious discussion of peace must take into account the people whose lives and fundamental rights are under threat.
