In annexed Sevastopol, the occupying authorities announced yet another wave of “nationalization” of property belonging to Ukrainian companies and private individuals under the pretext that they allegedly support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Without providing any evidence, the “Parus” factory, a number of private companies, as well as homes and apartments belonging to Ukrainian citizens, were seized.

This was reported by Krym.Realii.

According to a statement by MikhailRazvozhayev, the Russian-controlled head of Sevastopol, the Russian authorities will seize the property of the following companies:

  • LLC “Sevastopol Instrument-Making Plant‘Parus’”;
  • TBi LLC;
  • LLC “KETZ ‘Saturn’”;
  • Atlantis-LTD LLC,
  • Rosttrade LLC;
  • "Rifer" LLC

As well as the following individuals:

  • Andriy Anatoliyovych Kryvobokov (born November 1, 1972, citizen of Ukraine);
  • Yevhen Ivanovych Kharchenko (born May 29, 1967) and Svitlana Pavlivna Kharchenko;
  • Viktor Mikhailovich Piskunov (born April 9, 1954);
  • Olena Volodymyrivna Vasylenko (born February 15, 1970).

The Sevastopol“Parus” Plant was established in 1960. During the Soviet era, it manufactured control systems for nuclear submarines and cruise missiles. After the collapse of the USSR, the plant fell into decline due to a loss of orders, and most of its workshops are now abandoned. Today, only a small private firm operates on its premises, manufacturing mining equipment and continuing its operations as usual under Russian law.

Last December, following a decision by the anti-terrorism commission, the Russian authorities in Sevastopol also transferred enterprises and property belonging to Ukrainian citizens to Russian ownership. This included several internet companies, a restaurant, and apartments.

Earlier, Ukraine accused a judge of the Russian-controlled Yalta City Court of committing a war crime. He ordered the deportation of a Ukrainian citizen from Crimea.
