A commercial ship's captain was killed in a Russian attack in the Odesa region

In the Odesa region, the captain of a cargo ship was killed as a result of a Russian strike, and fires broke out at the targeted warehouses. The strike also damaged port facilities and civilian structures.
This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
In the Odesa region, Russian troops attacked port and civilian infrastructure, resulting in the death of the captain of a commercial cargo ship flying the flag of Antigua and Barbuda.
The target of the Russian attack was a commercial cargo ship, on which a fire broke out. The ship’s captain—a Ukrainian citizen—was killed in the strike.
The rest of the crew was successfully evacuated. The fire on the ship was extinguished.
In addition, the Russians attacked warehouses twice in a row. The warehouses stored medicines, household goods, and food.
The strikes also caused fires at the warehouses. It took several hours to extinguish them, after which the blazes were put out.
The attack damaged port and civilian infrastructure. Among the dead was the captain of a commercial vessel; the rest of the crew was evacuated.
On September 22, during another attack by Russian jet drones in the Odesa region, one person was killed and two other men were injured.
Also in Chornomorsk, a World Health Organization (WHO) warehouse storing medical supplies was damaged as a result of a nighttime attack by Russia. No WHO staff members were on the warehouse premises at the time of the strike.
