Human rights activists have identified 12 more “frozen” detainees at Simferopol’s Pretrial Detention Center No. 2, whom the occupiers are hiding in secret cells. These individuals are being held without any legal status.
This was reported by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.
The list includes:
- Igor Viktorovich Pogribny, born in 1994, a native of Ak’yar (Sevastopol)
- Anatoliy Vitaliyovych Yemets, born in 1973, a native of Vinnytsia, resident of the town of Koreiz
- Vlada Eskenderovna Sagermanova, born in 2004, a native of Kerch
- Oleg Serhiyovych Germanenko, born in 2000, a native of Kerch
- Ilya Vladimirovich Naboychenko, born in 2004, a native of Yany Kapu (Krasnoperekopsk)
- Selim Dilyaverovich Edemov, born in 2007, a native of Akmesdzhit (Simferopol)
- Dmytro Gennadiyovych Sizintsev, born in 1993, a native of Kryvyi Rih, resident of Alupka
- Anatoliy Anatoliyovych Babiy
- Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Yakovenko
- Anokhin Yevgen Vyacheslavovich
- Maksym Viktorovych Ovchinnikov

Zareema Barieva, manager of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, reported that Russia is hiding these people for crimes they did not commit
“These are people whom Russia is hiding from prying eyes and has been holding for years without any legal status, subjecting them to regular torture. Sometimes the occupiers may take pity and ‘release’ them only after a certain number of years,” she emphasized.
The human rights activist noted that Crimea has long since become a large-scale distribution hub where the occupiers bring both Ukrainian civilian hostages and prisoners of war.
Earlier in Yevpatoria, a local resident was detained for allegedly collaborating with the Security Service of Ukraine. FSB representatives claim that he planned to plant an explosive device under a Russian military vehicle.
A 28-year-old resident of occupied Crimea was detained atAdlerAirport. He is accused of organizing a Jehovah’s Witnesses group. Searches were conducted at the detainee’s residence. According to the occupying authorities, “banned literature and other illegal materials” were allegedly seized during the investigative proceedings.
