Mykolaiv Region Under Attack: Air Defense Destroys 7 Drones Amid FPV Assaults

Air defense forces destroyed seven attack drones, and the Kutsurubska community was again shelled by FPV drones, damaging homes and power lines. The enemy continues to attack Mykolaiv region, but air defense continues to repel attacks.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

Yesterday, as of 07:30 am on February 27, Mykolaiv region once again came under enemy attack. On the night of February 27, the air defense forces successfully destroyed seven enemy Shahed 131/136 kamikaze drones.

The Kutsurubska community in Mykolaiv district suffered the most. On February 26, Russian troops carried out seven attacks with FPV drones, damaging a residential building and a power line in the village of Dmytrivka. This left 1906 subscribers without electricity, but emergency crews quickly restored power. No one was injured. In addition, on the night of February 26, the air defense shot down three more Shahed attack drones.

The shelling of the region did not stop in the previous days. On February 25, the enemy shelled the Kutsurub community with artillery and carried out nine attacks with FPV drones. As a result, the administrative building of the farm and a car were damaged. On February 24, Russians attacked the community four times with kamikaze drones, one of which hit a power line in Dmytrivka, causing power outages.

On the night of February 24, the air defense forces destroyed six Shahed 131/136. On February 23, Dmytrivka and Lupareve came under shelling: a house and a car were damaged in the former village, and two private houses in the latter.

On February 20, at about 17:05, the enemy attacked Bashtanka district, probably with an S-300/S-400 missile. As a result of the blast wave and falling debris in the yards of several houses, windows and doors were damaged.

Yevhen Nazarov, senior lieutenant of the medical service of the 35th separate marine brigade named after Rear Admiral M. Ostrogradsky, spoke about the mobilization process, the challenges of being a combat medic and life in Odesa during the war.
