The new rector of ONMU declared half a million in foreign currency and apartments in Greece

Millions of hryvnias in cash, hundreds of thousands in foreign currency, real estate in Odesa and Greece—and that’s not all. Stanislav Schneider, who was appointed rector of Odesa National Medical University, has declared his family’s assets.
The document covers the period from January 8 to September 1, 2026. The declaration was made public on September 30.
The declaration lists Schneider’s wife, Svitlana Levina, and his son, Arkadiy. All three are listed as holding residence permits in Greece based on “permanent residence status.”
Real Estate in Odesa
Stanislav Schneider owns the following in Odesa:
- an apartment with an area of 657.1 square meters, purchased in 2013—its value at the time of purchase was 2.62 million hryvnias;
- two garage spaces measuring 15.3 and 15.5 square meters—93,500 hryvnias each.
His wife, Svitlana Levina, declared:
- an apartment with an area of 309 square meters—3.22 million hryvnias;
- an apartment with an area of 100.5 square meters—880,000 hryvnias;
- a “parking space” with an area of 14.6 square meters—121,400 hryvnias.
Real Estate in Greece
In Greece, Schneider owns:
- an apartment with an area of 52.2 square meters—8.25 million hryvnias;
- a non-residential space measuring 5.75 square meters – 145,700 hryvnias;
- a parking space with an area of 12.15 square meters—339,900 hryvnias.
He acquired ownership of all three properties on October 24, 2025.

His wife owns an apartment in Greece with an area of 83.7 square meters, which she purchased in 2022. Its value at the time of acquisition was 7.97 million hryvnias.
The total declared value of the family’s real estate in Greece is over 16.7 million hryvnias.
Cars and Watches
In his declaration, Schneider listed four watches: a Breguet, an Ulysse Nardin, a Rolex, and a Hublot. The Hublot, purchased in 2021, is valued at 350,000 hryvnias. For the other three watches, it is noted that ownership was acquired prior to the submission of the first declaration.
The family also owns two cars:
- A 2018 Lexus LX 450D—Schneider purchased it in 2024 for 1.8 million hryvnias;
- A 2014 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 150—his wife’s car, purchased for 800,000 hryvnias.
Income
During the period covered by the declaration, Schneider received a total of 507,030 hryvnias in income.
Of this amount:
- 334,100 hryvnias – salary from ONMU for part-time work;
- 84,100 hryvnias – pension;
- 62,3 thousand hryvnias – salary from the Institute of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine;
- 24,5 thousand hryvnias – lifetime payment for the title of Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine;
- 2,000 hryvnias – payment from the labor union.
Schneider’s wife declared 2.75 million hryvnias in income from entrepreneurial activities and 401,900 hryvnias from renting out property. Her total income was 3.15 million hryvnias.
Millions of hryvnias, dollars, and euros
Schneider declared:
- 1.26 million hryvnias in cash;
- 120,000 euros in cash;
- 7,000 dollars in cash;
- 100,700 euros in an account at Piraeus Bank in Greece.
His wife has:
- 13.45 million hryvnias in cash;
- 491,95 thousand dollars in cash;
- 239,400 euros in cash;
- 38,500 euros in an account at Piraeus Bank.
Thus, the declaration lists a total of 14.71 million hryvnias, 498,950 dollars, and 498,660 euros in cash and funds in accounts in Greece.
Schneider also listed his additional employment: senior research fellow at the Institute of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, professor at ONMU, and dentist.
