Dmytro Voronov, the former mayor of Oleshky, is stepping down from his position as director of a municipal enterprise in the Cherkasy region. Shortly before that, in August 2026, he purchased a car for 315,000 hryvnias.

This is evidenced by Voronov’s financial disclosure statement, made public on October 13. In the document, he reported his income for the first nine months of 2026, as well as his family’s assets and financial situation.

From January through September 2026, Dmytro Voronov received 308,888 hryvnias in salary as director of the enterprise.

His wife, Zhanna Yemets-Voronov, declared 40,150 hryvnias in social assistance for children with disabilities and 28,000 hryvnias in payments for internally displaced persons. The family’s total income for the specified period amounted to 378,202 hryvnias.

In August 2026, Voronov purchased a 2009 Opel Zafira for 315,000 hryvnias. His wife owns a 2011 Nissan X-Trail, which her husband is also permitted to use.

The declaration lists two houses. One, with an area of 68.5 square meters, is located in Oleshky and belongs to Voronov’s wife. She acquired ownership of it in March 2002. The second house, with an area of 65 square meters, is located in the village of Domantove in the Zolotonosha District of the Cherkasy Region. It belongs to another person, but the Voronov family has the right to live there.

Although Oleshky is listed as the family’s official place of residence, they actually live in Domantove. No financial assets or funds in bank accounts are listed in the declaration.

Dmytro Voronov served as chairman of the Oleshky City Council from 2015 to 2020. In the 2020 local elections, he lost the race for mayor to Yevhen Ryshchuk.

In June 2024, Voronov became director of the municipal enterprise “Raitheploenerhiya” in the Cherkasy region.

The Center for Public Investigations has previously reported on Voronov. According to the CPI, he was not employed anywhere in 2023. Together with his wife and two minor children, he lived solely on social benefits—approximately 180,000 hryvnias.

The CPI also reported that the court registry contains numerous rulings regarding the activities of the Oleshky City Council during the period when Voronov headed it (2015–2020).
