Woman killed in Mykolaiv region as a result of hostile shelling

In Mykolaiv region, the enemy attacked with drones and mortars. A woman was killed in one of the attacks.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

Yesterday, on September 8, at 08:05 and 16:22, the enemy sent FPV drones at the Kutsurubska community. As a result, a residential building and a car were damaged in the village of Dmytrivka. There were no casualties.

Also, at 16:50, the enemy fired mortar shells at the water area and at 19:45 - artillery shelling at Ochakiv of the Ochakiv community. A residential building was damaged. A 70-year-old woman died as a result of one of the shelling.

On the night of September 7, active air defense was conducted in Mykolaiv region. The air defense forces and means destroyed 12 "shaheds". Also, at 13:04 and 21:23, the enemy fired artillery at the territory of the Kutsurub community.

Every day, Russian occupation forces attack the region with shaheds and artillery. Ukrainian air defense systems are also operating. Thus, on the night of September 6, seven Shahed 131/136 UAVs were destroyed by air defense forces and means in Mykolaiv region. As a result of combat operations and falling debris in the Bashtanka district, dry grass caught fire in an open area and was promptly extinguished.

On September 5, the enemy shelled the Kutsurub community with artillery. As a result, a private house was damaged in the village of Dmytrivka. No casualties were reported.

On the afternoon of September 2 and September 3, the enemy attacked Voznesensky and Mykolaiv districts with ballistic missiles. A private house and a car were damaged as a result of an FPV drone hit. In addition, on September 2, the enemy sent an FPV drone at the city of Ochakiv, and later fired mortar shells at the water area of the Ochakiv community. A power line was damaged in the village of Solonchaky.

In Mykolaiv region, air defense forces destroyed six Shahed-136/131 UAVs.
