Water rates to be reviewed in Kherson

In Kherson, the tariffs for centralized water supply and wastewater disposal currently in effect were set by the NEURC, but the municipal utility is already preparing to revise them for 2027.

Currently, the tariff for centralized water supply in Kherson is 13.15 hryvnia per cubic meter, excluding VAT, and for wastewater disposal, it is 12.43 hryvnia.

At the same time, the Kherson Municipal Water and Sewerage Utility has already announced its intention to revise the rates for centralized water supply and sewerage services for 2027.

By comparison, in Odesa, water supply costs 30.59 hryvnia per cubic meter, excluding VAT, and wastewater disposal costs 24.03 hryvnia. In Mykolaiv, these rates are 14.61 and 13.76 hryvnia, respectively.

The heat tariff for residential customers in Kherson is 2,002.16 hryvnia per 1 Gcal. The monthly service fee ranges from 22 to 45.48 hryvnia.

At the same time, during the study, no regulatory documents regarding solid waste management rates were found in Kherson. In general, such rates are set by the executive bodies of city councils or military administrations, if established.

Fees for the management of apartment buildings in Kherson, as in Mykolaiv, range from 3 to 9 hryvnias per square meter, depending on the building and the list of services.
