Volodymyr the Great Avenue to be repaired in Odesa for 143 million

Two tenders have been announced in Odesa for the repair of Prince Volodymyr the Great Avenue with a total value of almost UAH 143 million. The works will cover more than 63 thousand square meters of pavement and will last until the end of 2026.

This is evidenced by the data of the Prozorro procurement system.

The Road Maintenance Department of Odesa City Council has announced two tenders for the repair of Prince Volodymyr the Great Avenue. These are current and overhaul repairs with a total expected cost of over UAH 143 million.

The first tender concerns the current repair of the road on the section from Kishynivska Street to Akademika Zabolotnoho Street. The area to be repaired is 36,622 square meters. The expected cost of the works is UAH 62.2 million, and they are scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2025. Payment is due upon completion of services, within 65 calendar days, in the amount of 100% of the cost.

The second tender involves the overhaul of sidewalks, intersections and public transport stops on the section from Kishynivska to David Oistrakh and from Knyazya Volodymyr Velykyi Avenue to Krymska.

The pavement area to be overhauled is 26,928 square meters, with an expected cost of UAH 81 million. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026, and payment will be made after the work is completed within 420 calendar days, also in 100% of the cost.

The terms of reference state that the overhaul involves the arrangement of a barrier-free environment, including ramps and convenient descents for people with limited mobility. The customer for both procurements is the Road Maintenance Department of the Odesa City Council.

At the end of September, Rostdorstroy, owned by Odesa MP Yuriy Shumeher, was again awarded a major road contract in the Mykolaiv region. The company will be paid more than UAH 1.5 billion from the budget for the maintenance of national roads.
