Two people were killed and 12 others were wounded in the Kherson region as a result of Russia's aggression

On July 11, Russian troops attacked Kherson and 39 other settlements in the region. Two people were killed and 12 others were wounded as a result of shelling and drone attacks.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

According to the Regional Military Administration, critical and social infrastructure facilities, as well as residential neighborhoods, came under enemy fire. Russian troops damaged three high-rise buildings, eight private homes, an administrative building, a store, cell towers, ambulances, a trolleybus, and private cars.

The Regional Military Administration reported one fatality and 12 injuries over the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, the prosecutor’s office clarified that on July 11 alone, two people were killed in Kherson as a result of two separate drone attacks.

According to the investigation, around 6:00 p.m., Russian forces attacked one of Kherson’s streets with a drone. A 77-year-old woman was killed when explosives were dropped.

On the same day, around 11:45 p.m., the occupiers launched another drone strike on the regional capital. A 48-year-old man was killed, and two other men were injured. Law enforcement authorities have opened criminal cases regarding these incidents under the article on war crimes.

In addition, on July 11, Russian troops attacked a trolleybus in Kherson for the second time that week. Around 11:00 a.m. in the Dniprovskyi district, the occupiers dropped explosives from a drone near public transportation. The trolleybus was damaged; no reports of casualties have been received.

Also, over the past day, seven people were evacuated from liberated communities in the Kherson region. Authorities are urging residents of frontline settlements to take advantage of the opportunity to leave for safer regions.

As a reminder, at around 7 a.m. on July 8, the Russians attackeda minibuswith a drone in the Korabelny district of Kherson. A 72-year-old woman from Kherson was killed, and six other people were injured.

On July 9, Russian terrorists struck a minibus in downtown Kherson witha drone. As a result, two women aged 51, 38, 40, and 76 were injured. They were diagnosed with concussions, shrapnel wounds to the limbs, blast injuries, and closed head injuries. Two men, aged 60 and 74, were also injured in the attack on the minibus. Preliminary reports indicate that they suffered concussions, blast injuries, and closed head injuries.

The day before, the enemy struck one of Europe’s largestpoultry farmsin the Kherson region, causing a massive fire and significant destruction. The company’s losses are estimated at hundreds of millions of dollars.
