Two people were killed and 11 others were wounded in the Kherson region as a result of Russian aggression

Over the past day, dozens of settlements in the region came under enemy artillery fire and drone attacks, including Kherson, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Chornobaivka, Stanislav, Antonivka, Kizomys, Dudchany, and other communities.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Russian troops targeted critical and social infrastructure as well as residential neighborhoods in these communities. Four high-rise buildings and four private homes, a gas pipeline, a farm, a shuttle bus, and private cars were damaged.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that pre-trial investigations have been launched into these war crimes. According to the investigation, on June 16, the Russian army once again attacked the Kherson region with barrel and rocket artillery, as well as various types of drones.

One of the victims was a resident of the village of Vyrovka who was on the street during a drone attack. Another man was killed in Kherson when an FPV drone struck a shuttle bus. The driver and three passengers were injured.

Additionally, 11 more civilians were injured in drone attacks on Kherson, Novokamyanka, and Vesele. Among the injured were medical workers, a rescue worker, and police officers. Another man was injured during a rocket attack on Bilozerka using a multiple-launch rocket system.

In addition, private homes, apartment buildings, and both government and private vehicles sustained damage.

Meanwhile, 11 people were evacuated from liberated communities in the region. Residents of frontline settlements are being urged to leave for safer regions.

Prosecutors and police investigators continue to document the consequences of Russian attacks and gather evidence of war crimes.

Recently, Russian forces attacked a commuter bus in the Korabelny district of Kherson with a drone. One man was killed in the strike, and two others, including the driver, were injured.

In addition, Russian forces attackeda hospitalin Bilozirka, Kherson Oblast, with artillery and FPV drones. Two nurses and a hospital employee were injured in the shelling, and the hospital building and nearby residential homes were damaged.

Furthermore, an employeeof an energy company was killed in Kherson as a result of a Russian drone attack. At the time of the strike, the man was performing emergency repair work.
