Two killed and 15 wounded in Kherson region as a result of Russian strikes

Over the past day, Russian troops massively attacked settlements in the Kherson region with drones, aircraft and artillery. Kherson and more than 30 other villages and towns in the region were attacked.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, Russian shelling damaged social infrastructure and residential areas. In particular, eight multi-storey buildings and 15 private houses were damaged. Also damaged were the Point of Unbreakability, a service station, a gas station, a minibus and private cars.

As a result of the Russian attacks, two people were killed and 15 others were injured. There is a child among the victims.

One of the victims was a 22-year-old resident of Kherson who came under Russian fire in the city center the day before. Doctors fought for her life to the last, but her injuries proved fatal.

In addition, four people were evacuated from dangerous communities in Kherson region.

As a reminder, on May 14, in the Korabelny district of Kherson, Russian military attacked the vehicles of the UN humanitarian mission from a drone. The attack took place despite international norms that prohibit shelling of humanitarian missions and civilian vehicles used to help the population.

The occupiers also dropped explosives from a drone on a street in Kherson. A 68-year-old local resident was hit. The woman died on the spot from her injuries.

On May 13, in Kherson, Russian occupants attacked public transport with a drone. A shuttle bus came under attack. Six passengers were injured, and the bus driver sustained a concussion. Later it became known that two victims were taken to the hospital - a 57-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man. They were diagnosed with contusions, explosive and closed head injuries.
