Two children wounded in Kherson region due to enemy attacks

During the day, several settlements in the Kherson region came under attack by Russian drones, artillery and aircraft. As a result of the attacks, people were killed and children were wounded.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

Between June 1 and June 2, 2025, a number of settlements in the Kherson region were shelled by Russian troops. In particular, Beryslav, Antonivka, Stanislav, Kizomys, and Kherson came under attack. The enemy used drones, artillery and aircraft.

The attacks damaged critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential buildings. Three high-rise buildings, seven private homes, gas pipelines, a service station, warehouses, outbuildings, a garage, agricultural machinery and cars were damaged.

The shelling killed three people and injured 19 others, including two children.

At night, the air defense forces destroyed one Shahed-131/136 attack drone over the region.

The occupiers do not stop terrorizing Kherson region: in just three days - from May 30 to June 1 - massive shelling covered dozens of settlements. The enemy attacked with drones, artillery and aircraft. Residential areas and critical infrastructure facilities suffered the most.

Between May 30 and 31, Russian troops shelled private homes, garages, a gas pipeline, and cars of local residents. Social facilities also came under fire. At least three civilians were killed, and ten sustained injuries of varying severity.

The next day - from May 31 to June 1 - the attacks did not stop. At least five apartment buildings, seven private houses, outbuildings, gas infrastructure and a car were damaged. This time, one person was killed and eight others were injured.

The affected areas include both Kherson suburbs and frontline villages. In addition to residential buildings, a mobile communication tower was hit, causing interruptions in mobile internet and communications.

In total, at least four civilians were killed and 18 others were injured in the Kherson region over the past three days.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, according to official estimates, more than 9,000 facilities have been damaged in Kherson region. The most destruction was recorded in the Bilozerska community - 3048, in Stanislavska - 2163, in Dar'yevska - 2100, and in Chornobaivska - 2038. Muzykivska community suffered relatively minor, but still significant losses - 44 objects.
