The Kherson Regional Military Administration has urged residents not to return to their abandoned homes in the temporarily occupied territories and in areas of active combat, emphasizing that such trips pose a direct threat to their lives.

The Kherson Regional Military Administration published this statement on its social media pages.

The Regional Military Administration noted that the Russian occupation regime is intensifying pressure on the civilian population. When entering or traveling through the occupied territories, people may be subject to screening measures, searches, and forced inspections of their phones and other electronic devices. Their personal devices may also be confiscated.

According to the administration, men of draft age face a particular risk. They are at risk of detention and forced conscription into the occupying armed forces.

Families with children are also facing pressure. This includes, in particular, the imposition of Russian educational propaganda under threat of persecution.

The situation regarding the provision of essential services to settlements in the temporarily occupied territory remains difficult. Due to damage to main utility networks, towns and villages may be left without electricity, drinking water, and mobile communication for days or even weeks.

The Kherson Regional State Administration urged residents to refrain from traveling to temporarily occupied settlements and areas where hostilities are taking place.

“No property is worth the risk of ending up in enemy filtration camps or Russian torture chambers,” the Kherson Regional State Administration emphasized.
