Trukhanov's party has decided to strip four members of the Odesa City Council of their seats

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The "Trust the Deeds" political party has officially announced its decision to recall four members of the Odesa City Council through a citizens' initiative. The deputies in question are Oleg Bryndak, Marina Lozovenko, Oleksandr Matveev, and Vasyl Ieremiya.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>This was announced by Oleg Etnarovich, the leader of the “Trust the Deeds” faction.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>It was decided to recall Oleg Bryndak following the entry into force of a ruling by the High Anti-Corruption Court, which found him guilty of committing a criminal offense;</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Marina Lozovenko will leave the Odesa City Council due to a violation of the requirements of Article 16 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Status of Local Council Deputies,” as well as her desire to focus on her work in executive bodies;</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span> Oleksandra Matveeva was stripped of her powers due to her departure abroad and her absence from 15 sessions over a two-year period;</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span> Vasyl Ieremiya was recalled due to a violation of the party council’s decision prohibiting membership in other civic organizations aimed at creating new political projects.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The decisions were adopted following conferences of the Odesa city and regional branches of the political party, as well as a meeting of the party’s Council. At the same time, a ruling by the Odesa District Administrative Court had previously been made public, prohibiting the political party “Trust the Deeds,” as well as the Odesa City and Regional Territorial Election Commissions, from considering, vote on, or make decisions regarding the recall of deputies of the Odesa City and Regional Councils through a popular initiative. The ruling is subject to immediate enforcement.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

Earlier,Olena Buinevych, the former director of the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council, stated that she had agreed toHennadiy Trukhanov’sproposal to join the “Trust the Deeds” regional organization. She will head the party’s local chapter.
