Three "officials" of the occupation administration of Kherson have been served suspicion notices

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The post says that under the procedural guidance of the Kherson District Prosecutor's Office, three local residents were served with suspicion notices in absentia. They are accused of voluntarily holding positions related to the performance of organizational, administrative or administrative and economic functions in illegal authorities established in the temporarily occupied territory (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the suspects are former local government officials who, after the full-scale Russian invasion, voluntarily cooperated with the enemy. All of them were employed in senior positions in the occupation administration of Kherson.

It is noted that in the spring of 2022, one of them became the so-called "head of the department of legal support of activities", another headed the "department of financial institutions of socio-cultural relations and social sphere". The third person involved began to manage the "Department of Budget and Finance".

In their positions, the suspects contribute to the legalization of the occupation regime in illegally created bodies, making decisions in accordance with their powers.

The pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the Main Department of the National Police in Kherson region.

Earlier, it was reported that a resident of the region who headed the occupation health care institution and transferred property to the illegal administration of Kherson region was suspected.

It was also reported that a local resident who received the mandate of a "deputy of the Kherson Regional Duma" from a Russian party would be tried.
