Three children wounded in shelling of Korabelny district of Kherson

The racist troops launched a massive attack on residential areas of Kherson: three people were killed and 14 were injured. Law enforcement officials have launched a pre-trial investigation into war crimes.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, on the morning of October 24, 2025, the Russian military fired on residential areas of the Korabelny district of Kherson with multiple launch rocket systems. As a result of the enemy shelling, apartment buildings and private houses were damaged. Emergency and rescue services are already working to eliminate the consequences of the attacks.

As of 10:20 a.m., another woman was confirmed dead, bringing the death toll to three and the number of injured to 14. The victims were on the streets and at home, seven of them were hospitalized.

Among the victims of the hostile strikes on the Korabelny district are one teenager and two girls. Around 7:30, Russian troops shelled Korabelny district, wounding a 16-year-old teenager. He suffered a mine-blast trauma, concussion and shrapnel wounds to his face and body. Two girls, aged 17 and 15, also needed medical assistance. They suffered mine-blast and craniocerebral injuries, concussion.

Prosecutors and investigators are already taking priority actions to document this war crime by Russian troops and have opened a pre-trial investigation into war crimes that led to the death of people under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Yesterday, 33 settlements in Kherson region came under fire from Russian drones, aircraft and artillery. Eight high-rise buildings, twenty private houses, administrative buildings, businesses and cars were damaged as a result of the attacks. Two people were killed and nine others were injured. Also in Kherson, for the second time this month, a synagogue building was damaged by Russian shelling.
